Merry Go Round Toy Library OPEN for click and collect services Tuesdays 10am-4.30pm from Exeter Scrapstore.
Spinning Top Toy Library OPEN Fridays 10am-1pm at the Beacon Centre; you are welcome to stay and play at Spinning Top.
We are very happy to give advice when you collect/return toys or via email or social media.
We are CLOSED on Tuesday 13th May as we move to our new premises! From Tuesday 20th May onwards we will be open at Positive Light Projects, Sidwell Street, EX4 6RD each Tuesday from 10am until 4.30pm.
NOTE Membership allows you to borrow from either toy library, but toys can only be collected and returned to the toy library they were booked from. Please do a separate transaction for each toy library.
Important Note
To view toys by site, please select the toy library you want to borrow from listed at the top of each category link. Toys from Merry Go Round start with code M or T, toys from Spinning Top start with code C.
How Much Does It Cost?
Family membership: £8 per year
Group membership: £16 per year
There is a weekly fee for each item borrowed, with a minimum loan time of 2 weeks.
Rates start at 50p per week for cheaper toys and resource books. More expensive toys cost from £1.50 per week.
We make no charge for breakages, but do ask for toys to be thoroughly cleaned and checked for pieces before return. A replacement charge will be made for toys which are not returned.
How to Join
- Fill in a registration form
- Select membership type
- Pay using a credit or debit card.
You can then start booking toys to take home!

Members can use both toy libraries, but must make sure toys are returned to the toy library they were borrowed from
